December 14th Early Release Day

There will be an early release on Thursday, December 14. Our elementary campus is hosting the UIL contest for our zoned schools. This event takes place on Thursday, December 14th. In order to make sure that we have enough rooms cleared for the event and the students/staff that are attending from the other campuses, the district will observe an early release that day. The elementary will dismiss at 11:45 am with buses running at that time. Buses will run at the junior high and high school at approximately 12:00 pm.

When do we set our clocks back? Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, November 5, at 2:00 A.M. Now, we “fall back” by setting your clocks back one hour.

Help support our school! Eat at CiCi's Pizza in Corsicana Monday through Thursday nights from 4-9 PM and just drop your receipt in the Blooming Grove box before you leave. And we get money for our Blooming Grove Elementary students!

Change Drive for the American Cancer Society

The BGHS Student Council will be hosting a "Change Drive" for all campuses beginning Monday, October 23rd-27th. The money collected will go to the American Cancer Society. There will be a competition between each category: Pre-K - 2nd, 3rd-5th, junior high, and high school. The class that raises the most money in each category wins a prize to be awarded on November 3rd.
