Our new online registration is now open for the 2018-2019 school year to parents of returning Blooming Grove students*. If you do not have an account in the Parent Portal you will need one. We have created a step by step chart to help you get started and a link to the Parent Portal.

The first day for PreK/Kindergarten enrollment is Monday, April 23, 2018, 9AM-2:30 PM and will continue until May 30th.
In order to complete the enrollment process, parents will need the bring the following:
• Your child’s state issued birth certificate
• Your child’s social security card
• Your child’s current shot records
• Your proof of address (utility bill)
• Your drivers license

The elementary campus will be closed to all outside visitors on
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, May 14th, 15th, and 16th for our STAAR testing.

Due to the amount of rain that we have received yesterday and today, there are several roads that are flooded on our bus routes. For the safety of our students, Blooming Grove ISD will be running the afternoon routes on pavement only.

May 2, 2018 - BGE First Grade Parents, we have decided to reschedule the first grade field trip to Cameron Park Zoo due to the possibility of severe storms in the area throughout the day tomorrow.

Get ready! It's this Friday, April 13th starting at 6 PM. Here are the details:

The last day to order a 2018 yearbook is Friday, April 13th! We will not be ordering extra copies for sale upon delivery. So you must order now! Yearbooks are $55.

There are 2 ways to pay. You can order online at jostensyearbooks.com or return the order form with cash or check to the high school front office to the attention of Cynthia Coward. If paying by check please make sure you put your DL# on the check. Please make all checks payable to Blooming Grove ISD.

We are seeing many cases of flu and strep. Please help us keep the illnesses down by doing the following:
1. Wash your hands frequently. Soap and water are the best. Hand sanitizer works when you cannot use soap and water.
2. Cough or sneeze into your elbow or a tissue, then wash your hands.
3. Stay home until you are 24 hours fever free without taking any medicine.
Students can bring hand sanitizer and a bottle to drink water out of to avoid sharing germs.
Please remember that returning to school before you are well or fever free makes it easier to get sick again and exposes others to the germs.
