Hello!  My name is Briana Whistler.  I am the Special Education Teacher at Blooming Grove Elementary.  I taught Kindergarten for 5 amazing years before making the move to Special Education.  I am certified in EC-6, ESL, and Special Education EC-12.  Currently, I am pursuing my Master's in Special Education with an emphasis in Learning Disabilities and Behavioral Disabilities.

 

My heart absolutely thrives in providing special education services to our amazingly exceptional students.  Seeing them learn new concepts, work hard, and grow is so rewarding.  Watching a child learn to regulate themselves and learn the tools to be successful in life in what it is all about! 

 

I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 14 years.  We have two growing in grace daughters and one perfect son that lives in Heaven.  We live on our ranch home with 10 cows, goats, 6 dogs, and (hopefully soon) chickens.  I love all things iced coffee, fitness, reading books, photography, family time.  You will often see me at the softball fields, basketball court, or with a camera in my hand!
