Monday, June 22, 2020 - BGISD welcomes Allyson King as our new elementary principal. Mrs. King brings 24 years experience in education with the past nine years as an assistant principal and principal. She has taught 1st and 2nd grade, Reading Recovery, as well as grades 3-8 Development Math and Reading.

Wednesday, June 17, 2020 - The education of your children has been greatly altered this year due to Covid-19. We realize that helping our younger students continue to grow in reading ability is critical. To support our Kinder through 5th graders in reading development, each student will receive six reading books in the mail in the coming days. These books are for them to keep as part of their home library. Inside the cover of each book are engaging reading activities, designed to help them maintain or strengthen their current reading level.

Thursday, June 4, 2020 - Welcome to Blooming Grove Independent School District! The 2020 - 2021 Prekindergarten & Kindergarten New Student Enrollment is now open from June 4, 2020 through June 30, 2020. At this time, we need to connect at a distance. Complete the Pre-K/Kindergarten New Student Enrollment through the Ascender Parent Portal. Please see the parent information forms and video to further guide you through the registration process.

We want to celebrate our kindergarten students by inviting parents to drive through and let us cheer our "grads" on! Students will get to see their teachers, receive their completion certificate and a special treat! We ask that everyone stays in their cards to maintain social distancing! We will take a picture of your student and share on social media. See you Tuesday, May 26th from 6PM - 7PM at the elementary campus primary drive!
