Wednesday, February 12, 2020 - Due to road conditions, Blooming Grove ISD will have a two hour delay. School will start at 10AM on all campuses. Some buses are not able to complete their routes due to flooded roads.

Early Release At 2 PM

Due to the forecast of severe weather, Blooming Grove ISD will release school early today at 2:00 PM along with other Navarro County school districts. Buses will begin running at that time. All evening activities have been canceled and rescheduled.

Alice in Wonderland Jr., The Musical

Blooming Grove's Mane Stage Theatre Company proudly presents Alice in Wonderland Jr., the musical. Performances will be in the auditorium on Friday, November 15th and Saturday, November 16th at 7 PM, followed by a Sunday mantinee beginning at 2:30 PM. Adult tickets are $10 and student/children tickets are $5, available at the door. Concessions will be available during intermission.

NOVEMBER 13, 2019: Picture Re-Takes

BGISD is working with a new photography company this school year. Many things have gone well, but a few things have not. Staff and high school pictures were originally printed and distributed without a background. This was a lab error and the pictures were reprinted with a blue background and distributed on Friday, October 25th.

A few people have noticed printing issues (discoloration, spots, lines, etc.) with their pictures. In an effort to make sure we have the best pictures to send home and the best pictures to use in the yearbook, we are rescheduling re-take day on Wednesday, November 13th for all campuses. Veterans of BG Elementary School Students

Blooming Grove Elementary School staff and students would like to recognize our families and extended families for serving our great nation. The sacrifice and willingness to protect and honor each of us is one of great courage and valor.

We would like to invite our Veterans to come and join us on November 11, 2019 at 2:00 PM for a program of recognition by our 4th grade students, followed by refreshments afterwards in the library.

Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week will be October 21st through 25th. We invite all students and staff to join us as we send a message to stay drug free! Here is a list of activities for the week:

BGE PTO Fall Carnival

Make plans to join us on Friday, October 25th from 4:30 to 7 PM at the elementary campus (indoors) for our BGE PTO Fall Carnival! Kids can enjoy a bounce house, cake walk, ring toss, Ping Pong toss, face painting, basket raffles, tons of prizes, hot dogs, nachos, dippin' dots and a silent auction you won't want to miss! Help make this the best BGE PTO Carnival!
