For the safety of our students, staff, and community members, we are moving our Meet the Teacher night outside this Thursday, 5:30 - 7:00. PreK, Kindergarten, and 1st grade will be under the covered drive that is past the cafeteria (PreK wing). 2nd and 3rd grade will be under the covered drive at the front entrance. 4th and 5th grade will be in the outdoor learning circle, between the gym and front entrance. We are excited to meet our new students and see our returning students. Don’t forget your school supplies!
PTO will be selling snow cones and t-shirts.

The dates for Spring Portraits were left off the order forms. Here are the dates: PreK through 2nd grade - Wednesday, April 7th, 3rd through 5th grade - Thursday, April 8th.

Revised menus for our elementary campus are now available on our website.

Monday, March 22nd, the elementary campus will be closed and students will learn remotely from home. This is for one day only. Detailed information will be sent home with each student by the end of the week.
Before any construction work at the elementary can begin, we must remove all the contents from the building. Before any removal can occur, the teachers and administrators need to inventory the damages. For this to be done correctly, the teachers will have to go through everything in their classrooms – books, curriculum, hand-made materials, personal items they use in the rooms, furniture, etc. We cannot expect the teachers to do this at night after teaching all day. So, in order for them to have the necessary time to conduct this inventory accurately, we are making Monday (3/22/21) a remote learning day for elementary student. We appreciate your continued support as we work through this process.

Many of you, as well as many schools across the State, have experienced damage from the recent storms. The elementary campus experienced extensive damage. We have contractors and restoration companies onsite, working to make the campus safe for students and staff. It will take approximately two weeks before instruction can resume in the elementary school.
We have a plan for our elementary students to receive face-to-face instruction while the contractors work to make repairs. Corsicana ISD has generously made one of their unused buildings available for us to use during this time. Through a focused collaboration between our administrators and CISD staff, our students will be able to resume their education with little loss of time. It will require some flexibility, but our teachers and administrators are outstanding and will do all that is needed to make sure your children are in a safe and loving learning environment.

We will accept nominations from January 25 through February 5, 2021.

If your child is in the 4th, 5th, or 6th grade and would like to sign up for BG Little Dribblers, the deadline is this Wednesday, December 16th. Forms are available in office at the JH and Elementary.

There will be a BG Little Dribbler's basketball meeting on Sunday, November 15th at 2:00 PM in the elementary cafeteria for anyone interested in helping organize the program.

Yearbooks are back on sale for the price of $50. This sale will run through Friday, November 13th with prices increasing after the 13th.
